Dr. Nguyen is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain specialist and is the Medical Director of Peninsula Pain Care.

Dr. Nguyen has many years of experience treating a wide variety of pain conditions using the latest X-ray guided techniques and knowledge about multidisciplinary care.

Dr. Nguyen graduated from osteopathic medical school in Arizona. He completed his Residency in Anesthesiology and Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

After his specialty training, Dr. Nguyen started private practice at the Interventional Pain Center of Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts. He then returned to California to work in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management at Kaiser Permanente.

Dr. Nguyen was educated in both the United States and Europe and speaks English, French, Spanish and Vietnamese. He has written and published several book chapters and articles about pain medicine topics and lectures worldwide as volunteer faculty for humanitarian organizations.
